Hi,
I am an alien to U.S. working on a Work Visa. I am not a citizen. Last year I got married and brought my wife to U.S. I had to spend almost $1200 as part of the ticket and moving expense for my wife\'s travel to U.S. Can I claim that in my tax return ? If so where should I itamize that.

Sorry if this is not the right place for me to ask this question.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Though I am not a CPA I could say that if your wife and you are filing jointly, then you could deduct the moving expenses from India for your wife from your Fed tax return. You need to keep the records/receipts of this travel for a period of three years from year of return.
