I got interview letter for n-400 Tampa which contains something as follows -
You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:
-This letter.
- Your alien Registration card (green card).
- Any evidence of selective service Registration.
- Your passport and any other documents you used in conjunction with any entries into the United States.
- Those items noted below which are applicable to you..
And then it goes on to list items if applying with Naturalization as the spouse.
Question - # 3 above, - Any evidence of selective service registration. I was not in the US in any category between the ages 18-26. I came here at the age of 27 years and 3 months. Do I have to worry about this and get the selective service status information letter, notwithstanding? I am worried that it is called out specifically in the interview letter. Not sure if the interview letter format is generic or specific on a case by case basis? If this is a generic template letter, then I guess I can ignore the selective service request as it does not apply to me. However, if they are calling out that document specifically for my case, then I think I will have to get that letter.
Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
