Talked to an IIO today. She said my case will take 3-4 more weeks (my case: EB1 China RD 03/99 ND 04/99). After seeing some May and June cases approved, I got really confused by the way they are processing I485s. She said they are doing case by case and everyone is different.

Please post if you have similar situations. Thanks

Talked to an IIO today. Told her my EAC # and she said my case is "under review". I said if that meant my case is with an officer. She said that all she can say is that it is "in processing". I said I have friends with much later RDs than me who have already received their approvals. She very nonchalantly said, "yeah they are processing a lot of cases". Then I asked her how much longer and she replied , "hopefully within a month". I guess my association with the soul-deadening, spirit-crippling INS is still alive and well as of today. Don\'t know how much longer this torture will continue.
