I just talked a VSC IIO officer few minutes ago. This is my details:
EB2 China/RD Sept. 13, 1999/ND Sept. 28, 1999/PD current (July 98).
FP was done on Aug. 16,2000 and FBI claimed the result was sent on Aug. 19, 2000.

The IIO says the case is still pending. What bothers me is that he also says the FP still not received, which is conflicting with what FBI said. Anybody has the same experience? Anybody has any idea how long from now such case may gets processed/approved? Thanks advance for any inputs.

I have heard that it them (somebody, must be the INS....) about 60 days to match the results received from the FBI to the appropriate I-485 petitions.... May or may not be true!!!!

I think you dont have to worry.
I took finger printing on June 27th I guess, I checked with
FBI after 1 week, they told it is been sent to INS.
But according to INS file they only received on July 31st.
Please check your case after 1 month , you should be ok.
