CALLED IO using POJ method..35 minutes waiting..

The lady told that our( wife and mine) name checks cleared back in 2005 and they got second FP result set too...

No VISA #s allocated to either of our cases. She was not sure why they havent allocated VISA for PD Oct 2002 case.. told that Wait until Oct 2007 for new VISA bulletin...

I asked her do you know why and what was the reason? and what is visa allocation procedure..

Her repsonse was we dont allocate #s only DOS here is the number contact them (DOS) why and what is the procedure. (202 - 663 - 1541)

I called DOS the guy was telling "MY receipt# EACXXXXXXXX) is not in his DATABASE which means USCIS hasnt sent our info to DOS to have VISA #s allocated..... He says "check back in Oct based on cut-off date no VISA#s available for this year quota".

So I dont need to check my status everyday :) till OCT 2007.

i had the same expirience.
i called tsc ,lady told me we don't issue visa call dos to find out visa number allocated or not.
i called the same dos on no. 202-.......,the man asked me the case number that start with three letters and number 00......issued from national visa centre.
initially i gave him reciept no. he said no. not that.then he asked my passport no ,ss no,last entry in us,dob my last and first name etc and then he said i still need case no .i said where do i get that from i was given the reciept no from uscis .he said we are not uscis , national visa center issues case no and you recieve in the mail. then he said it might be in the today mail or in the mail something like that .. i dont know what that mean?then he sadi you are alway welcome to call us back.....when u have case no...
did anyone hear that....
 
It is all Scrap and Crap these IO's and customer reps give..

they are making us go in circles.. USCIS <--> DOS <---> FBI <---> USCIS etc.. etc..

We applied to USCIS and it is there responsibility to do everything..

It is total Mess there.. with there Horrible Process and Procedures..
 
The DOS thing is for counsular processing not for 485 Adjudication.. Thats what i found. They will never see our number in any form.
 
I called DOS, they asked case number which I didn't have then she took my receipt number and told this is not available here. She told only approved petition will be in DOS database, approved petition must be sent from USCIS.

I don;t even try to analyze what she said, look for next avenue to call :)
 
I suppose VIsa # not allocated is todays mantra for IO. My case got approved but I did not see one for my wife, so I called TSC today. THe gave me the same reply.

Talked to a friendly IO and he mentioned that its in process.. we have still some hope. I asked, if I can expect any RFE on the case and he mentioned no and you can expect the decision in 3-60 days.
 
i called nvc national visa center

i called nvc at 603-334-0700
and followed the prompt messaged .
asked me the CIS recipt number .which i entered but it said you may have entered wrong number or we may not have recieved your file/application.
that means my visa number is not allocated?? not sure...

I have been on hold for 84:00 minutes now,message at the start said expected waiting time of 15-20 Minutes.:mad:

Anybody has any info till what time can the TSC IO be contacted by phone?

Hi hello friends

Today I did POJ method call to TSC I got in 15 to 20 mts
I asked about NC they said it's pending but they spouse cleared
i don't know what what's going on there in USCIS, i asked last month about my NC at Info pass appt they said NC is cleared last year in march 2006..

could u tell me which one is wright...

once again please give me reply any one....

I was able to speak to the IO today , she told me that my case is pending, whereas another IO last week had told me that the security check for my case has already been done. Now what to make of this ? That they are having a different script to be used everyday?
