Talked to IIO and confirmed that the FP results for self and wife were received by INS on 07/22 .We did our FP on 07/21.
She told me that the case is "IN PROCESS" but cannot give a definite timeline.I don\'t know what "IN PROCESS" means.

      from what u say the FP can be located by A number if it is in system1 and WAC number if it is in system2.Is this
assumption/fact correct?

  i can understand your frustration for not getting approval soon.
  i hope you get approval asap.
  i have a very small and friendly advice.
  the more you think about it the more pain you will feel.
  you can simply forget about this GC thing for a monTH
 ( do not check avM, DO NOT GO TO ANY BOARD TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE
   GETTING APPROVED,DO NOT TALK TO IIO, DO NOT GO TO ANY IMMIGRATION SITE)

 I AM SURE IF YOU DO THIS , AND CHECK AVM EXACLTY AFTER ONE MONTH AND YOU WILL SEE THAT YOU ARE
 GEETING APPROVED.

The thing is I never know when my H1B sponsoroing company will kick me !! we already had 2 lay offs and things are not looking good ..
