Just to help you guys and get help from you,

I spoke to an IIO today around 3:00PM. She was very nice and patient. She told me that mine and my wife\'s case is with an officer and I should hear back within 4-5 weeks. She was nice enough to explain me the process from here onwards, but I already knew that and it has been published on this site many times.

Impossible to get thru over the phone

How the heck does one get thru on the phone. I get the busy tone forever - I even tried at 5:00AM, 8 Eastern with no luck.

Ideas?
 
You have to be patient

Three possibilities,
RFE,
Intent of Deny (If you are out of status, e.g.)
Approval
         If Interview for GC, then card takes 4-6 months
         If no interview for stamping, card takes 1-2 months
