talked to IIO today, friday july 19 at 2.30

RD 8/06/2001, ND 9/27/2001, fp 01/30/2002 , talked to a nice lady, she said my file was ok & with an officer. My EAD & AP will expire in 2 months & When i asked her if i have to renew it, she said to wait for another 30 days & if i did not hear anything from them, give them a call again.
 
I also talked to an IIO at 4:00 PM Friday July 4:00 PM. My case is RD 08/06/01 ND 09/26/01. The lady told me that my file has still not been assigned to any Officer because right now they are processing case upto NOTICE DATE Aug 15th and it would take another 30-35 days before my case would be picked up.

I don't understand why different IIOs talk differently. I read so many times before on this forum that the dates to be considered is Receipt Date. I am seeing lot of approvals for RD Aug (untill 31st) on Rupnet these days and so when I called I hoped that she will at least tell me that my file is with some officer.

I am very frustrated with INS and don't know what to do....

Yesterday July 18th one of my Friend Spoke to IIO to inquire about his case Rd 8/13/01 and ND 9/26 or 9/27 ,IIO told him that they can't tell whether it has been assigned or not and will take atleast 4-6 weeks before his case will come for review , This happened yesterday Afternoon and Guess what When he called AVM in Evening ,It say's that Case has been transferred to Local INS in Cincinati for Interview on July 18th .

So moral of Story is not to belive on IIO's what they say Just keeping Checking AVM , Lady Luck will smile on us all anyday
 
Same thing happened to me.IIO asked me to wait till moth end before extending my EAD.It was approved the next day!!RD 07/08.Keep waiting guys and good things will happen!

We are hearing different stories from different IIO's on and off. Just relax...

Your case is very close for final decision. You will hear the great news shortly.

The only reason i am taking time and bandwidth is to explain to you guys, don't do that.

don't disturb them.

let them do what ever they are doing, if you guys need any special info. like your receipt number is missing or somethin like that then do contact the IIO.

otherwise leave him alone.

I contacted the IIO' got an RFE.
replied got approved like last week (*Too much in pain*)
. rest is up to you.
if you guys wanna do the same, contact iio get rfe, reply
and get approved then be my guest.
