After an initial hold time of 40 mins got to talk with an officer. She was very helpful. She got my name and EAC number and again put me on hold for another 30 mins. This is the exact phrase she told me "Your I-140 file is consolidated into an A number and it is sitting on the shelf and I am going to move your case further and you should hear something in 1 to 2 months."
I asked about my wife's case to find out if her case is linked to mine and gave her EAC number. She verified it and said she is going to push the case too..
Guys, Do you know what she means by the I-140 consolidated into A number.. any idea.? Did anyone come across this situation.
