Myself: I just wanted to get an update on my I-485 case.
IIO: I know that we\'re processing cases received in april and may of 2001 and I see that your case is received in Feb 2001.
And I also know that we\'re working on a 120-day Window back from May 2001. So, you\'re in that window.
Myself: Do you see that the finger prints are received??
IIO: I have no way of knowing that.
Myself: Do you see any remarks on the case?
IIO: No.
Any ideas of what that window might be???

Back window means...

Hi,

Backwindow of 120 days means 4 months. So from May 2001 to January 2001. So according to IIO (Not my opinion) they are processing the cases from Jan 01 to May 01.

I would not exactly trust what IIO said. There are many folks who has RD/ND in 2000 & still are waiting. I think IIO just wanted to tell you something to get you off his/her back. Also they can tell you the fp status either by using LIN number or Align number (On your EAD). If IIO told you that there is no way then he/she was lying.

Hope this helps. Do not want to discourage you, but thats how things are at NSC.

Not all IIO are bad, there are some good one too. Please call them again in few days & ask them about FP.

It is useless to call again and again unless something is wrong with your case.
for you, you can\'t get any reasonable answer.
for IIO, he/she can\'t speed your case.
