Talked to an IIO (real nice lady) this morning. Once again told me that they are currently processing Aug. 1st cases. Everything looks good on my case, and it has been assigned to an officer a few days ago. She doesn't know how long it will take, but basically told me that I don't have to worry about renewing my EAD, since I will probably get my approval before that.

She used the term "being reviewed".

She used the term "being reviewed". But I said if that means my case has been with an officer, then she confirmed that.
