Talked to CSC today IIO ...XTREME DETAILS INSIDE !!

I talked to CSC IIO today morning….I am giving exact details on how I handled it verbatim….

The reason I called first was to enquire whether my cousin who is bedridden can go for stamping after 2 months…We don’t want to delay it and his FPs are old now…In the process I thought I will enquire about my EAD , 485 and FP status…

Called the CSC phone number at 9 am ..after 4-5 redials I got to the AVM system …( lucky me !!)
As always my and wifes 485 and ead wac was not located and my cousins 485 was approved…The time was 9.09 am when I hit the
0 key for a IIO…….I got the message “all reps are servicing other customers etc……” …I just patiently waited waited and waited …
I was on hold till 9.58 am when finally a ladys voice came up on the other end… Remember my phone has earset plug and I have a
ATT Handfree mike for my phone..so holding phone for almost 1 hr was no problem…The IIO sounded south America….

IIO : This is CSC ..how can I help you?
Me : Ma’am Good morning ..How are you?
IIO: I am fine..Thanks.. What is your wac no?
Me: Maam I called to ask whether my cousin whose 485 is approved can go for stamping after 2 months ..He is bedridden and handicapped to travel.
IIO: Please wait…
IIO: (He wants to know cousin status …inaudible )
Male voice : ( ..inaudible …)
After 1 minute
IIO: are u there?
Me: Yes
IIO: Your cousin or his lawyer or someone whom he has given POA can check his status and details ..Did he give you POA ( power
Of attorney ) ?
Me: No.
IIO: I am sorry sir he or his lawyer can only call..
Me: Ok Thanks maam..I would like to know my and wifes status …
IIO: Give me wac no.
Me: I have 4 wacs …2 each for me and wife for 485 and EAD…..and both of them are not located on AVM….
IIO: Oh ok so you have 4 wacs..lets go 1 by 1 so that we are not confused….
( background lots of noise of other IIOS…)
Me: Maam my EAD wac is wac-01-124-*****
IIO: Lets see….( after few seconds ..) Oh that has been approved on april 16,2001 ..will take 2-3 weeks for mailing the card.
Me: So my EAD is approved but autmated machine is not updated right?
IIO: When anything is approved we send it to a print server and then mail…
( I didn’t want to get into detail so I didn’t prod her more …)
Me: Ok ..my wifes EAD wac is wac-01-124-*****
IIO: wait…..Oh even that is approved on same date april 16, 2001
Me: Thanks maam…..Now I will give you’re my 485 wac ok ?
IIO: wait..few seconds ..ok give me wac..
Me: Wac-01-124-*****
IIO: ( few seconds )….oh this is pending…
Me: My wifes 485 wac is wac-01-124-*****
IIO: (few seconds )….Oh that’s pending too…
Me: Thanks maam ..Now I would like to know about my FP status….
IIO: Ok
Me: I and wife did our FPs on march 31,2001
IIO: I would need alien number..
Me: My alien number is A*********
IIO: Can you hold ?
Me: Yes
IIO: ( which screen should I go ?
Male voice : ( is he on hold?)
IIO: ( yes)
Male voice : ( you should go to screen ….inaudible ……)
IIO: (types something and says ITEM NOT FOUND to male guy and then silence)
( after 2 minutes )
IIO: No we have not received your FP.
Me: Maam I called FBI after taking and they said they have send our FP to INS …
IIO: Who said that?
Me: FBI
IIO : oh FBI …..Hold a minute
IIO: ( FBI said they have send to INS..)
Male Voice : ( is he on hold ?)
IIO: ( Yes )
Silence for 3 minutes…
IIO: are u there?
Me : Yes
IIO: what is your alien number ? we were looking at wrong screen
Me : A*******
IIO : Hmmmm Mr. XXXXX YYYYYY
Me: Yes that’s me
IIO: yes your FP is valid from March 31,2001 for next 15 months…
Me: Thanks..My wifes alien no is A********
IIO: ( 5 second )..Mrs XXXXX YYYYYY
Me: Yes thats my wife
IIO: her FP is also valid from march 31,2001 till next 15 months….That’s a long time so don’t worry ..
Me: Thanks maam

sorry Dimpu my ND is 03/01 so I am pretty much sure I have a few months to go..so i never really bothered about what 485 are they processing or any other 485 details..I just wanted to make sure mine and wifes 485 application is in their system since AVM says they are not located..

3 - 4 minutes...maybe i was just lucky..I had tried yesterday in afternoon for about 1 hr but couldn\'t get thru..

I also spoke to IIO and the details corroborate for processing times.. My RD is 02/23 ND is 03/15 (derivative benificairy).
I was dialling through the modem from 10:40 got through at 10:00 , hold until 10:52. Feel I have spoken to the same lady again.

It appears that your case is not ready for adjudication (similar
to Dimpu\'s), which should not be too surprising because your ND
is fairly new. We will have to wait and see.
