Talked to an IIO

I just talked to Helen, an IIO at NSC this morning (01/21/03). I didn't ask her anything about the freeze and all but I enquired about my case. According to her, my case is with an Immigration Officer. She also informed me of the date on which my case went to the officer (Jan 15, 2003).

Does this mean anything at all? Or is it just another way of procrastination by the INS? Could somebody please let me know.....
 
I heard that before. A month ago my case was assigned to an officer on 12/12/02
And today is 01/21/03, my case is waiting to be assigned to a officer ...
Funny, huh???
 
My case was assigned to an officer as of November 25 2002. haven't heard any news from them since... My RD is 09/20/01
 
my case is with the officer from nov 1 no approvals yet. When i called the iio last week he said that it might take two months for the case to get approved

INS received RFE response on Oct '8th,2002 and they assigned to an officer on Oct'30,2002 .


I still waiting for approval...........

Still waiting...... I think those who are waiting for approval with July'01 and Aug'01 receipt dates are the un-luckiest guys. Just keep your fingers crossed and the day will come soon when we can all cheer up and celebrate

called nebraska....

I just called Nebraska... ..... .......

Me: Why is Nebraska not approving any case from last 3 months?
IIO: Who told Nebraska not approving cases?
Me: I have various ways to find out. Is it true or not?
IIO: She told that Nebraska is approving cases and asked about my LIN#
Me: I don't need any status of my case . I told that my case is with an officer from last 4 months.
IIO:she again asked my LIN#
Me: I told that I don't need any status .... I asked is there any email id for nebraska service center?
IIO: She told only way is phone and online.
