Talked to an IIO...... Question???

Hi!
This is my first posting on this board, even though I have been a regular visitor for a long time. First I want to thank all of you for keeping this wonderful board alive and informative. In keeping things short after seeing all the approvals lately I was tempted to talk to an IIO this morning (Earlier I used to check the AVM only). I guess I was lucky to talk to a polite lady. She asked for my EAC and after verifying my name she informed me that " Your case is pending. You can expect a decision in the next 30 days." Can anyone of you shed some light on what "Case Pending" means. Recalling the earlier postings I had read I believe it means that my file is assigned to an IIO. Any input on this appreciated.

I got similar response 3 weeks ago and got approval last friday. You are very close to getting approval. It should be about 30 days or less. Good luck.

Your is FP is scheduled on 22nd march. How did they allow u do go early in FEP. Which centre did u go FP?

Pittsburgh! They have separate office for P. They are open Tuesday to Saturday. If you have the original FL notice they will take you in. In fact we(wife) were the only one\'s that day and were out in 15 minutes. One of my friend had the same experience when he did his on a Saturday.

12/99 ? Does this mean VSC is processing fast. The rate at which they were handling the Sept/Oct cases it looked like it would take for ever to come to 2000 cases.

There are two posts today with EAC-00-30-XX and EAC-00-35-XX and they have been approved...I think they belong to ND somewhere from 11/99 to 12/99 timeframe....

I really hope/pray that VSC to move fast...
MY EAC number is EAC-00-124-XXX ....

Processing 11/99??? What about 9/99 still pending? I got the FP done way back in Sept 00.Also I called IIO mid feb and got the reply that I should hear something in 3 to 4 weeksbut nothing so far !
But I sure hope you guys are luckier than I am and you get approval in 30 days as the IIo said..
