Talked to an IIO...FP Sent to FBI on 10/20...What does it mean???

Hi All,

On 8/31\'st I have taken the FP (SJ). FBI confirmed that they have sent it back to INS on 9/4 or so... Today when I talked to IIO, she mentioned that they have sent the FP to FBI for verification on 10/20. What does it mean?..Will they send the FP back to FBI for verification, is this normal....Please through your idea\'s/thoughts on this.

I don\'t know what that means.

Those of us who did FP after Oct 1st
seem to be treated differently than the
rest of you guys.

I did my FP on 10/09 (ahead of schedule).
Called FBI, they said they sent them to
INS on 10/09.
Called AVM it says your FP were received
on 10/13 and your case is waiting adjudication.
 
I may be in the same boat, I have no clue

Talked today to IIO too, she told me that my FP were sent to FBI and they are waiting for FBI clearance. I thought that this is the usual case, when the FP are stuck in the A# system and I just have to wait for them to be moved in WAC# system (some IIO don\'t "see" the FP by A#).

Now if you say that the FP were sent for verification again on 10/20, this is totally new, I have no idea, we must find out...

Are you sure that the IIO said that the FP WERE SENT ON 10/20, which is after you did the FP at ASC?
 
Yes..IIO said they sent it to FBI for verification on 10/20...

IIO was not helpfull at all, she was trying to finish the conversation asap and refused to give the status for my wife\'s WAC#.

Can somebody call INS with FP around 08/30...just to check what ever IIO said is true or not?

This is bizzare.

I thought the INS take your FP, they get
sent to the FBI. The FBI look at them and
then give them to the INS. End of it.

I\'ve never heard of the INS sending them
back to the FBI.
 
checked with FBI, they don\'t know anything about this

I checked with FBI, she told me that the last thing she can see regarding my FP is that they were sent to INS 2 months ago, exactly when I know I did the FP. She didn\'t received anything fron INS lately and she has no idea.
Rkatta, can u check with FBI too? Unlike INS, FBI\'s number is easy to call.
 
Bongo - Just curious - has your AVM changed once or twice since FP

You used the word \'waiting for adjudication\' in your posting - is it second message since or FP or did you mean \'pending review\' message which even I hear on AVM for my case?

I had tried hard last week - but couldn\'t get through to IIO to check FP quality!!
 
Checked with FBI...They don\'t know any thing about this...May be the IIO was trying to not give any

It says "pending review", but I take this to mean: waiting
to be adjudicated, right?
 
Talked to IIO again...

This IIO was patient and helpfull (Asian Accent), According to her they received it from FBI on 10/20 and waiting to be assigned to an Officer...So, The IIO that I talked to on Friday was wrong and he did not bother to check the case details.
 
that\'s a really good news.

Hopefully the same explanation works for me too.
I\'ll have to call again to check this, but I\'m not very excited about calling IIO again; the IIO I talked yesterday was extremely rough:
Me: "I\'ll like to check if everything is ok with my application, because I know many cases with both ND and FP after me which were already approved"
She: "Speak for yourself"
