Talked to an IIO - Faxing to workstation

I just talked to an IIO and he told me that my case was assigned on Feb 19th. I don't believe him because my case was supposedly assigned in sept and then oct and then end of jan:)...but he did tell me to fax an enquiry to get an update. He gave me a Div 2 fax # and a workstation number. Have any of you guys come across such a thing with the workstation #
The fax # he gave me was 949 389-3055
Do you guys know of what I would need to write in the fax or is there any sort of a format I could use. I am going to be circumventing my lawyer by sending the fax myself.

I finally got a response to my fax enquiry after 31/2 weeks and the exact words in the response were "RFE response received. Cases with your date are currently being adjudicated"

Also my case has not been assigned...that's what I got after talking to an IIO and also infering that from the response.
