Talked to an IIO - Audit Question

I talked with an IIO just now who said that the Audit currently going on could last another week or so(i think it has been going for a week ).

Basically my 485 application had been assigned to an Officer who returned it back to the Work Area(Pool of Pending Cases) because of the Audit as of
28 Sep.

Did anything similar happen to anyone else...
Moreover any ideas about when the audit is likely to finish??

I don\'t know when exactly the case was assigned to an Officer but my guess is about 1-2 weeks before 28 Sep
