My wife talk to IIO today. IIO have told that our case has been assigned to an Officer on Jan2nd.

My case details:
RD: 10/09/01
ND: 11/09/01
FP: 02/28/02
RFE: 10/30/02
REF Replied: 11/11/02
RFE:Received: 11/25/02

I think INS started working on 485 Cases now. We can expect approvals this month 3rd week onwards

Cheer up guys!

;)

Could you pls confirm the first five numbers of your WAC? I am intersted in knowing whether my batch is movinf (WAC 02 045 5xxxx , reciept date 11/20/01)
Thanks,

tsram,
Your case no. is wac-02-035, but the ND is 9/11/01, it seems contradictory. You case should be 01 case, right?
Thanks

tsram, caltiger, SillyMan,

I am really praying for your approvals! That way, maybe just maybe INS will get around to doing mine! :D

Don't know how far the IIO's statement is going to proove, but good luck to you tsram and you other waiters out there!

I'm sick of waiting man, totally screwing up my life, and it's been over 450 days from ND now .. about time I saw my approval.

Actually I beg to differ, I thought it was pretty hilarious! :)

For a minute I was wondering about the first few posts since those people were already approved, but then checked the date and then the joke dawned! :) It was pretty hilarious! :)

tsram - was this an IIO at the national customer service center or at Laguna Nigel?

When I called the 800-number at the national customer service center to schedule my appointment for the EAD renewal, I also asked about my pending AOS (ND:Dec 7, 2001, and with RFE-Rcvd on Nov 13. 2003) adn the only thing I was told was that I have to wait until the JIT report indicates Jan 7/02 (i.e., 30 days past my ND) before they initiate a trace.

You do not need to schedule an appointment for EAD renewal. If your EAD application is pending for over 90 days, you can go to the local office and get iEAD.

gcworthy - I did the "online" renewal (on the web) which requires you to go to have the picture taken, etc. Anyhow, that was not the point of the story...

For this you have to go a nearest ASC. I did online renewal for my wife. After getting the recipt notice , I called up the 1800 national customer service number and asked one of the customer service specialists. She directed me what to do next. I did not speak to a IIO.
Subequently I went to ASC nearest to my house and got the picture and other formalities done.

I hope this helps

All the best
