Does anyone know what it means that a case is waiting to be called in (or picked up) by the automatic system? I have been hearing that for months about my N400. Does this indicate an issue with the case or is it a process that all cases go through? Does the system pick cases randomly or is there some logic to this?

I am in a similar boat. My timelines are in the footer. I have also been told by the DO that all our (me and my spouse) background checks have been completed and we are waiting for system pickup. There must be some logic behind system pickup but whether the system logic is totally logical or not, that's a different issue. Secondly, it is a well known fact that if the builders built houses the way programmers write programs, the first woodpecker that comes our way would destroy civilization.hank said:
