System down at Customer Service Center ?

Hello all,

I have been trying to contact the customer service center (1-800-375-5283) for the last 3 weeks to check on the status of my case, but everytime I call, I receive the same response back...that the system is down and I need to call back at a later time. Just wondering if it is just with my case or everyone else is having the same problem. My case (140 and 485) was denied about 8 months back but was reopened after filing a motion. Can we use the NCS number to find the case status of reopened cases ? Is there an alternative way of checking the case status ?
