My labor is pending for years. At the time it was filed, the wording used by my lawyer was very "generic" so there may be chances that an US citizen can fill the position.
I now have many years of experience and very unique qualifications. For many months a job has been posted in another department of my company which I can fill.
Question - Can I swith to the Perm Process if I apply for this new position within the same company??
