Switching jobs after I-485 has been filed

Hi,
I was lucky to get LC substitution and i got I-140 approval in sep22-03. My I-485 will be filed shortly. If i change my job after my I-485 has been approved, i understand my GC processing will be valid provided my current employer does not revoke I-140 and i work on a similar job description.

My question is should the new employer file H1B transfer for me or i can use my EAD and work for him.

You would not be safe

as u said ur 140 is approved. Now you have to wait for more than 180 days from day of your 485 filing
