Switching Job, EAD or H1

I am switching job and going to apply for AC21 (140 approved, more than 180 days for 485 pending). Job description is also same. My wife has started working on EAD.

I have more than year pending on H1. Should I go for H1 transfer or switch on EAD? Since wife cannot be on H4 anymore as she is working, should it not be clean to switch on EAD?

------------better join new employer with H1 trasfer H1 is good back up and you can also extend for 7th year 8th year if I-485 is pending
Since wife cannot be on H4 anymore as she is working, should it not be clean to switch on EAD?
------------ if you remain on H1 then she can any time go out of US can enter on H4 status(with valid H4 visa stamp and if H4 stamp expires can get H4 visa stamp) if you are on H1 status.
Please give your recommendation

In addition to filing H1, should we file H4 for her too at same time (keeping in mind she is going to continue to work on EAD)?

-------------- you file for your H1. She is working on EAD and H4 extension not needed she is AOS pending, better file AP for her so that if she goes out she will need valid AP to reenter or if she wants be on H4 again she can get H4 visa stamp based on your H1 and can enter on H4 status and will get I-94 based on H4. for more info talk to your lawyer
