Hi Gurus!

I have a question regarding switching employers and use of AC21 during GC process.

I was working for company A,switched to company B.After my I-140 was approved with company A,joined back with I-485 filed.More than 180 days have passed working with company A after I-485 filing.

1.Assuming company A wont cancel my I-140,can i switch to company B.Also what should be the salary i should join B,can it be 10%to 15% lesser than salary on my I-140 (assuming i have similar job description and responsibilities).

2.Say after switching i have a layoff at company B,can i switch again without affecting my approval.

Thanks
Pete

1. Yes, Yes. job responsibilities are important than salary
2.yes. U can join A or a new company C..

Can company C be a small startup

Thanks for your reply Jaxen,Can the company you join using AC21 be a startup consulting company ,not with great financial records but paying salary close to i-140 salary (assuming job classification and responsibilities are same).

yes. But INS can choose to ask you to prove that the company is viable - recent paystubs...
