I Got it stamped yesterday, I have been contracting at client place for 4 years and now client offered me full time emplyoment now, I told my company boss and he agreed for that. Is it OK to join from Dec 15th. Please advice me ASAP.

Should not be a problem if your company agrees to give you a No Objection Memo and if that was the agreement between your company and the client.

Thanks, my company is ready to give No Objection memo, I am asking in INS point of view that changing job within 18 days of approval.
 
Clear up ur end

Make sure that you get a No objection letter from your current employer stating that , they dont have problem in you joining the client. I had the same problem . They didnt say anything when i suggested that i will be leaving them soon ...but after the negotiations with my client , when i sent the resignation letter my employer started harrasing me saying that i have to pay a huge amount if i have to join the client. Luckily for me the client(new employer) paid that amount . So be careful.

I just happened to talk to the lawyer on this issue and he mentioned, I guess this kind of situations are really unique and the person making the decision is best judge, if you feel that your company is going to create any problems as Myth mentioned make your client ready to face the situation or else you will be in trouble IMHO 18 days is definitely not acceptable to INS unless you get laid off for some reason or your company hands over your services to client with some premium. Although, my lawyer has been pro-employer ALWAYS !

No objection memo does not make it legal, with respect to your immigration.
It may only help you avoid scrutiny, which is a lot, but INS may find out in other ways.

If you unexpectdly got an offer, dated after you legally became PR, and that offer is much better, this may be legal reason for you to leave your sponsor so early.

My client(new employer) is paying amount to my employer(GC company). Its a premium right, will it help me.
 
No Objection Memo??

I am hearing this word over and over again in this discussion. Being new to this site, Can anyone even suggest what a No Objection Memo would be like, and what can it possibly accomplish?? A No Objection Memo, as I see it, does not do anything to prove good intent or otherwise....
