Switching application process from employer-based GC to marriage-based GC. Is it easy and possible?

I know it is easier to get a green card through marriage than it is through employer. Unfortunately for me it is much easier to find a job than a wife. So I would like to start the GC process through my employer. Question is: If later, let's say one year, I end up getting married, is it easy to switch the process to a marriage GC to make things easier and faster?

Yes. You just file a petition based on your marriage and your employment-based application is fairly easily rescinded.

Yes, you can.

I filed mine in November 2009. On the other hand, my EB3 GC is still pending (almost 4 years) while the Family based process is moving smoothly - interview is next week.

Go ahead and re-file all the required paper-work.
