Switch from CP to AOS

People are talking a lot about switching from AOS to CP. I am
wondering the opposite due to some reasons.

My I-140 specified CP, what should I do to switch from CP to
AOS. The I-140 (EB1-OR) approval notice says the approved
petition has been sent to NVC.

What do I need to do to switch back from CP to AOS? And what
are potential problems with this switch?

File I485 with the concerned service center. Call NSC and the consulate (if interview has been scheduled) and inform about switching to AOS.
The National Service Center ( new hampshire) , has to reroute your application docs with them to the pertinent service center.. Definitely will add some delay to the process (not taking the I485 delays into account)
