My original name here is bymy, but I forget my password, so bymy---okkkman.

I just checked ATM and found that my and my wife\'s I485 got approved in Nov. 19. Have not received the letters. Details:

EB1 OR
RD: 17/sept, 2000
ND: 02/10, 2000
FP: 25/10,2000
AP: 19/11, 2001
SRC-01-001-xxxx

This board is extremely useful, and I handled my files totally by myself (started apply for I-140 around March, 2000.

Here are some other question for Gurus here:
1) This year I am away from my own institution, so can I bring the approval letter to local INS office to get our passports stamped?

2) When my H-1 visa expired? immediately after we stamp our passport? Say: if I did not stamp my passport, can I use my H-1 visa to go aboard? I am planning to go aboard in two months.

Hang on! Everyone could pass this ordeal!

Congratulations

Go get your passport stamped after you receive your approval notice from local INS and you are free to travel.

I am a bit surprised to see the approval for SRC01001. But my nd is october 2, 2000. So more or less the first group in FY 2001 (they said it started from October 1).

Got our approval letters yesterday (which were forwarded to us by USPS from our old address). Went to Cherry Hill, NJ local service center. Waiting for about 15 minutes and got everything done in half hour.

We are finally free!
