suspended from school

I have a friend who was suspended (not allowed to continue at the university)after being on probation becuase of academic failures. He is on F1 visa. Is he out of status ? Can he just get I20 from another univeristy and continue with the transfer process ??? Please help out. No idea what to advice him ???

does someone have any input ?? board moderators ?? anyone.....my friend needs some advice and we friends cannot afford an attorny at this point

can't he talk to the DSO at the college? tell him to try doing that - if not - try the DSO at the other college he's trying to get into.

ask your friend to apply first on an open enrollment college . best is community college and pursuade his intrest to complete education
check all his immigration dcouments and must keep in touch with DSo.
