Surname change in I-797

Hi,
I and my wife came in US in 2005. I was on H1 and she was on H4. Since, we had to come to US immediately, she didn't change her "maiden" surname on her passport/H4 visa. Now, her H1 application(Oct,2007) has been approved(I-797) under her maiden surname. We now want to change her name in the passport as well as her new H1 visa. What is the procedure do the name change in this scenario and what's the best way way to achieve this?

Better don’t change it now it will be mess. To change name on passport she need copy of marriage certificate check the site of nearest Consulate, if you change her name on passport now it will Not match with H1 approval and if she goes out for visa stamping then also problem the H1 approval will have different name and passport different name/last name. Better to change after she gets GC.
