Support documents to interview

I read that everyone taking support docs such as bank statements and photos. Do the officers want to see the original of everything? Did you take copies of everything in case the officers ask for them? I got all the originals but if I make copies, I'm going to need a bigger box to take everything with me. Also some people say they took copies of photos. Did you also take the original photos and give the officers copies? Thanks.

I dont have any bank statements or anything like that since my husband doesn't have a social security # to get one (no passport either, he's Canadian) We're making copies of our birth certificates, daughters birth certificate, getting letters from family members, copies of wedding pics, family pics etc. We've also been married 4 years and have a 2 yr old together so I think that may say a lot for us.
But I am making copies of everything so they can have a copy if they want them and I don't lose my copies, especially of pics!
