Supplement A to Form I-485 --- Pls Help---

my case has been assigned to an officer late november and yesterday my lawyer received a notice saying that I have to fill out supplement A to Form 485. We both checked and this should not apply to me since I\'m not seeking asylum but in the US on H1B and always kept this status from the begening Can somebody tell me if they had the same experience and how they fixed it with the INS... all the best guys
 
Supplement A to I-485.

One must provide Supplement A form with I-485 form if he/she wants to take advantage of 245(i) amendment, if he/she was out of status for some reason. Please check the 245(i) law on this web site and talk to your attorney.
 
I am in the same boat

It seems TSC has hired a bunch of new officers who do not know the procedures or someone in TSC is trying to find an excuse to justify the delay in processing. This is what happened to me. My lawyer has filed the form with a covering letter explaining that status was maintained at all times. Hope this helps.

What is your ND/RD, EB category and SRC-?????-XXXXX

Can you please clarify if TSC received your supplement A I-485, how long it took them to have it in the system. my fingerprints will expire on feb 15 and I my lawyer sent the response last friday.

Do I have to keep hoping or is it going for another year ?
