Supplement A - Do I need to submit it with I485?

I'm applying for adjustment of status in the US, I'm here on VWP - Marrying a US citizen. Do I need to submit supplement A?

The information on who has to submit what seems to contradict itself, starting off basically suggesting I DO need to submit the form, then stating that I don't because I'm marrying a US citizen - "You do not have to submit Supplement A..." - "C. Are applying to adjust status as the spouse....of a US citizen....and you were....lawfully admitted to the United States" - Quoted from USCIS website.

So....simply, do I need to submit supplement A and pay the $1000 filing fee, or not?

No.

You are only eligible to file Supplement A if you qualify for 245i relief, which requires a PD of 04/30/2001 or before, and physical presence in the US on 12/22/2000.

Wow, okay. A lot of sites seemed to give very unclear information that suggested that as long as I was applying for AOS whilst remaining in the US I had to fill that form out and pay the extra $1000.

Thanks for the reply.
