Suggestions for Business Visa interview May 2nd

Hello all,

My brother in law will apply for his business visa on May 2nd in Madras.

He is a final semester MDS student (Masters in Dental Surgery). The purpose of
his visit, for about a month, is to attend a dental conference (his paper
has been accepted) and travel within the US.

I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions that will help him
get his visa. His application 4 years back, as a BDS
student, was rejected. Want to make sure he does his
best this time around.

Are there any general dos and don'ts when appearing for the interview?

The first challege is that he gets a chance to talk to the visa office
during the interview. If he does, he can point to the following:

- Still is a student in his final semester and has to go back to finish his MDS degree
- My mother in law and father in law have made several trips to
the US and have always returned to India given that my father in law
completed his surgery residency here.
- We haven't applied for his permanent residency even though my wife is a citizen.

Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

thanks for your help.

His sister is US Citizen, you can not hide it in the visa application.

Cousel thinks "
Chances of abonding MDS and start staying US with his sister and start preparing for ADA Part I & II and join any school to persue his DDS. And may not come back. "

So prepare well for interview.
