Suggestion on Consular Processing

Hi,
My LC got cleared recently and now I have to take decision whether to choose AOS or CP.
I am from AP so I come under Chennai Consulate.
If any one had experience in CP with chennai consulate can you share with me?

I am mainly looking answers for following questions.

1. How difficult (problems) it is to get GC in chennai?

2. If for some reason they reject GC, will my H1 still be valid?

3. Where should I go for Medical checkup?

4. Where should I take the photos?

Any kind of suggestions are welcome.

If your paperwork and case is straight forward, you will most likely get it.

2. If for some reason they reject GC, will my H1 still be valid?
Depends on the reason for rejection. If you are not eligible for a green card, they will probably cancel other visas as well. If it is for a missing document or require additional evidence, you will be allowed to return to US.
3. Where should I go for Medical checkup?
There are 3-4 doctors in Chennai approved by the consulate. You will have to go to them, no one else.
4. Where should I take the photos?
Preferably in Chennai because you get excellent photos for a very low price. Your preferences may be different and it really does not matter.
Any kind of suggestions are welcome.
