Hi Friends,

I want brief about my 485 process background for exactly what i am asking for. I filed my GC with a small company when i an employee of that company and working for an end client (period: August 2000 - June 2001). In May 2001 the company filed my labour application to INS from virginia state because the employer used to be in Virginia.

After june 2001 i joined another company as peramanent employee. In November 2002 my labour got approved and the previous employer still showed interest to continue the process. So i filed my 485/I-140 process in December 2002. RD is 12/4/2002. Within 1 1/2 months timeframe in January 2003 i got my I-140 approved (i hope its very fast) and then later in February 2003 got 1st EAD approved and gave 1st Finger Prints.

Renewed 2nd EAD in January 2004 and gave 2nd FP's on 7/24/2002. Till now there is no RFE. But the sponsoring employer is still supporting my GC process.

Now my main question if I don't feel like working with the sponsoring employer after obtaining the GC what are the possible ways i can do?

1) Can i continue the 485/I-140 process with the wokring employer and send the letter to BCIS that the current working employer will support my GC process by applying for AC21 since i already completed 180days after filing 485? For that do i need to take any permission from sponsoring employer? What if i get an RFE in this scenario to provide employement letter, paystubs? Do i need to enclose the new sponsoring employer related documents or the old one ?

2) If not wait till the GC gets approved and then after that start smoothly working with new employer and then send the letter to BCIS i am not joining the sponsoring employer (since i am not working right now) and continuing with the current employer because of some reason? Then what about the statement people say that an employee need to work for atleast 6 months of time with the sponsoring employer? Even for this also do i need to take any permission from sponsoring employer?

I hope everyone understand my situation?
