Hello
I am currently a GC holder who is due for citizenship in August.
i have my fiance abroad (africa) i want to immigrate here.
can somebody walk me through the process?
i have an idea of it but i dont know which way is the best, fastest and efficient for us.
getting married next month

A) Do i wait to apply and become a citizen and file for i 130 and proceed with k3
B) Do i apply for i 130 as a permanent resident GC holder and update his petition after i get my citizenship and file for K3
c) Do i just wait to apply and get my citizenship and apply for K1 visa for my fiance? (that case we put marriage ceremony on hold)

Any help, advice, suggestions with personal experiences will be appreciated.
By the way used this site for my immigration journey and YOU GUYS ROCK!

K3 is obsolete. Now they'll just process the I-130 directly for an immigrant visa. So if you get married first, just file the I-130 and forget about K3.

(c) is the fastest option to bring your future spouse to the US. 3-6 months after you file the K1, your fiance should have the visa. But if you get married first and file I-130, the wait would be about 6-12 months.

Thanks Jacko!

So if i am right, we put marriage on hold and wait till i get my citizenship and go ahead with C is the best for me if am looking for the fastest option?
