Guys!
I successfully completed my CP process at Chennai on Jan25th. ( Which I did briefly post it earlier. ) But posting few other observations/findings that I thought might be useful to the fellow CPers.
( Sorry for the deleyed posting as I had limited access to Internet, where I lived....)
Interview experience very much similar to others in this forum.
Following are my silent observations :
- DOn\'t worry about speeding tkts and other minor traffic violations.
- Any fillable versions of DS230 part2 forms from Immihelp are accepted.
- I just gave only photocopies of my last 4Paystubs. But they just kept
one of them and returned 3 back.
- I did not submit my W-2 forms, though I had it handy. I wanted to
submit photocopies, if atall they asked for one. ( Though, I had
originals ). They never did.
- So thumb rule: DON\'T PROVIDE MORE INFO THAN ASKED FOR.
- I would suggest one to get all the Medicals done here, in USA with an
approved INS Doctor ( Those approved for I-485 ) , just to save time &
one less thing to worry about & plan trip accordingly.
if u get lucky, CP panel Dr\'s at Chennai might accept the Medical
Reports.
- I went to Dr. VijayaLaksmi. I strongly would recommed her. She was a
wonderful Dr. She accepted all the Medical/Vaccation records that I had
in the past. She did not give any vaccinations to my wife as she was
pregant. No stripping of pants. U r just asked to take off ur shirt &
shoes.
- Lister lab will not do X-ray if u mention about pregancy. But do take a
letter from your Ob/Gyn \'ist.
- Vicinity around Hotel Maris/Hotel Savara/Hotel Chola Sheraton is the
best place to stay in Madras. It is conveniently located to all the
facilities one might need to carry out for CP. Close to
Photos/Bank/Lister lab/Dr.Vijayalaksmi/Internet Cafe/Money
Exchanger/Good Andhra Hotel(Amrutha) 5min walk along the flyover/Good
hygenic resturant next to Hotel Palmgrove.(I forgot the name )/Resturant
in Hotel Savara.
Thanks a lot for this Great forum and people who helped me out.
I will be more than happy to help answeres any questions.
