Recently we had successful visa (H1-B for me and H-4 for my wife) from US Consulate, Mumbai.
The consulate had a huge load because of vacations hence our passports were delayed by 1 day. This seems to be pretty routing habit for US consulate, Mumbai. Also because of the load the appointments were delayed. Our appointment was scheduled for 8:30 but we went in at 10:30. The good part being we were out by 10:50.
The only document I had to show was my degree certificate. The chit chat was pretty routine chit chat. My case details are as follows
1. 3rd H1-b stamping. 2nd for this company and 2nd at Mumbai Consulate.
2. My company was acquired by a MNC last year so the new H1-B was filed under the new company name.
3. My passport would be expiring in Feb 2008.
4. I have a US degree and have a process control background working in process control field.
