Just wanted to share this information. I was able to successfully transfer my H1b visa without pay stubs. I was employed with my initial company for 6 weeks with no project. My second company attorney handled the transfer by submitting letter from initial company stating that I was employed with them since start date. BTW need similar letter for renting apartment, drivers licence etc so no issue in asking company for same. Transfer was filed under premium processing and approved within 4 days of receipt.

:) :)

A small question

Say, if I do not want the first company to know that I'm transferring my H1-B visa onto another company, then can you please suggest what should be done. Rest of the situation is exactly similar to your situation. (i.e; h1-b under process from the first company, no pay stubs, idle for the past 4-5 weeks). Thanks a lot!!

H1 b transfer without pay slips

Ask your current company for an employment verification letter stating that you are permanent employee, start date and pay etc. Say that you need this for buying/leasing car, renting an apartment, changing drivers license to new state, rather than mentioning anything about visa transfer, btw you do need emplyment verification for all these things in most North East states

Thanks

Thanks a lot Aussieland. I have another question, can you please give me your attorney's name and web address or phone number (if it is not a problem for you ). If the 2nd company says it has no problem in me hiring an attorney (instead of hiring theirs), I will approach your lawyer to handle my case. Again, only if it is not a problem for you or for the attorney. Thanks once againg for the info.

hi

hi. where are you filing your h1b transfer, aussieland? i heard west coast processing is easier, is that right?

My H1b transfer was filed in Vermont. And my attorney was the company attorney so I cannot pass on their name. However I can recommend both Rajiv Khanna (who hosted this portal) and Sheila Murthy, both of whom I have personal experience in dealing with. :) :)
