Spouse name in the passport:

Some one has posted that it's mentioned in the P3 that the spouse name must be added to the passport before going to the CP interview. Is it required to have it added to the passport ( there is a column in the last page of passport for the spouse name ). I think, consulate gives more attention to the marrigae certificate only. Successful CPers, could you please post your response?.

It's not mandatory. don't worry about it.

agree with ra7 ...

my interview was on june 20. my wife still keeps her maiden
name (my name is not her pp) and we did not have any
problems. just presented the marr. certificate , photos and
wed. card (photos and wed. cards were returned to
us right away)
