birth certificates, marriage cert, pcc, employment letter, w2, last paystub.

pretty smooth process no hassles at all.

appeal1232001,

Heartly welcome to the GC land. Its nice to see some postings from individuals from New Delhi consulate also. It will be highly rewarding for other candidates pursuing CP at New Delhi, if you could please elaborate on your experiences.

Q1. My attorney is giving me hard time that I need PCC from every city where I stayed since my age of 16. My dad was in Indian Army and I was in dozen of places. I have already got a PCC from Indian Embassy/Consulate in Houston. He wants others PCC from cities in India also. Please give me your thoughts.

Thanks.

cpdelhi ....

My dad was also in the army and I roamed all over India ... ONE DOES NOT NEED ANY PCC FROM INDIA IF YOU ARE RESIDING IN THE US ..... Delhi had replied to me via email confirming the same ....... and probably I had pasted it here sometime back in May/June .....

As per my experience of more than a year on this forum, PCC from India is not needed ....

PM me if u want ....

Do you know the thread name

im9999,

I just sent you an IM.

I wanted to know if you still remember the thread name or its URL, where you posted that PCC from local police stations in Indian cities is not required if I am currently residing in US.

Thanks.
