Thanks mainly to this discussion board, successfully cleared the interview on 20th dec and yesterday entered US through Newark. On the whole, my experience is the same as that of other successful CPers.
Few things that may be of interest:
1. If your have renewed your H1 recently, and the same has not been stamped on your passport, be sure to take your new H1 approval AND a photocopy.
2. In a sheet that the consulate circulates on the day of the interview about the order in which you have to present the papers, one of the points states about financial statement / latest pay stubs. So, may be it is better to carry your latestpay stub.
3. I was not even interviewed and hence not all the CPers get interviewed.
4. Entry into the US was also smooth. The immigration officer took all our finger-prints and mentioned that the actual card will take about 9 months!! Hope it does not take so long.
5. The journey was definitely good as we got upgraded to Business class for the London Newark sector.
Best wishes for all of the waiting CPers...
