Today (Dec. 7,2006 ) was my interview for DV lottary 2007
and the consular give other appointment to get my visa ;) ;)
I will send all the details today later
if any one have any Q. send it and I'll do my best to help.

Dec. 10 , 2006 today I get my visa thans all

now what is next and one tell me

Just Simple as follow (sorry for any English mistakes)

1- I wake up early and go there at 6:30 my interview at 8:00 AM( I was the only one DV lottery case type there)
2- they start security check and take appointment letter and give me number and please site down again
3- some employee called my case and take all my papers
A- Make the paper in order as the instructions which will be in second envelope
B- Some of my papers were in Arabic so I translate all of them in legal translation office
C- Make copy of all of your papers
4- I go to other window to pay the fees
5- Other employee called me to review all the papers and ask me to swear that all the details are correct
6- The consular called me again and start asking me about my job, the state, my friend there, my education, and take my finger print and ask me to come back in next Sunday to take my visa, she gives me back all the original certifications.

All this take about 90 minutes
The interview simple as possible, just prepare the peppers and ask God to guide you to the right thing

This is my experimental I hope all of you get the visa

I'm waiting the next Sunday.

I'm Egyptian live in United Arab of Emirates
the papers they ask for is:
1- Birthdates certification(original and translation and copy of both)
2- Divorce/marriage if applicable(original and translation and copy of both)
3- Death if applicable(original and translation and copy of both)
4- my passport(original and copy )
5- police/military certificate(original and translation and copy of both)
6- 2 photos (slandered photos)
7- Medical examination
8- high Scholl certification(original and translation and copy of both)
9- current job letter (original and translation and copy of both)
10- Notarized form I-134 affidavit of support and back statement
11- Fees 2,795 Dr (I'll just one person)

they take just as follow
1, 4, 6, 5(just police certificate), 7, 8, 9, 10(just bank statement cause I have no one in USA to make I-134 Form for me) and the fees
Notes: I translate them in legal translation office
They take just police certificate of Egypt
that's all

You Mean With Only High School Certificates One Can Be Successful? What Kind Of Certificates Of High School??

relly and donot have any one in usa and i done do the affidavit of support

I have Bsc.
but high school in egypt mean "thanway Ama" every egyptian one will know what is this mean :))

and sure there are equivalent certification

like grade 9 in english system

There are a general poverty limits in every state in USA
But be sure of the next condition you have at least bank statment of 10,000$
and the bank statement must be minimum on last 6 months
This is the rules but in my situation no one looks to my bank statement
Just see my current job letter (I'm General Manager of my company)

tow things help me so much
- My position
- I know Spanish language

That's it

just i want to ask about Notarized form I-134 affidavit of support .
what is that mean? from where can i get it? if i cant provied one can my application going ahead without it? is it enght bank statement to approve that i can manage my life up to one year in USA or not enght

please i need help to clear all my q? thanks

what u thing dear I have bank statment more than 15,000$
but my family numbers are three with me .did it enought by the way my intrerview could be in Amman / Jordan.

Dears
the "Notarized form I-134 affidavit of support" is not condaition of DV lottery . but they need to be sure that you will not under poverty level. So andy thing will prove that it'll be acceptable but as following order
1- Notarized form I-134 affidavit of support
2- job offer from inside USA
3- bank statement

(three of them will be the best, two better, one work)

this what I think but not the DV rules so you have to call them (KCC or USA embassey ) directly and ask or goto th their web site

I would like to thank Mr.Hosam Alot for the unlimitted support he is doing for all and for me personnaly.
I think I am lucky :) to be in same country withhim so i was in direct contact with him and he help me a lot
 
my interview is on jan 12 and i need to make an appointment for medical exam how many days in advance should i make an appointment with them and do you know of any place/medical center that is close to the airport area ? i am staying in a hotel near airport

You have some authorized medical centers (mentioned in your appointment letter ) to make medical exam just call them in 1 or at most 2 days they will give you appointment I prefer new medical center see their web site

Hi & congratulations
We were in ankara 12 weeks ago for dv2007.My wife is principle applicant & she is BS. She present her BS certificate to the embassy instead diploma.Is there any problem for this?Also they said we need security check but this is not completed yet.Do you have any informations about this process?
