Folks-
We had a successful CP experience in Delhi, mostly similar to that described by many others. I\'ll mention points of differences below:
1) Our interview waw on Dec 27th. We were asked to collect our visas in the afternoon. However, when we went back, we were told the Delhi Embassy had run out of visa numbers and we should return in Jan.
2) We had to go back on Jan 2nd - both in the morning and afternoon. However, no more questions were asked.
3) Our port of entry was Houston, where there was a separate line for "New Immigrants." The officer took all the paper work and asked me to be seated for a few minutes. After about 5 minutes, he took my finger prints and handed me back the passport stamped with I 155 stamp valid till Jan 2003.
Overall, the experience was positive.
