Thanks to everyone on this board, The whole process was smooth. No questions were asked. The person at the consulate just verified our documents and asked us to pay the fees. Our passport and the packets were received promptly by us the next day.

Met couple of others who post here and everyone was successful. The x-ray and medicals were also a breeze. Just make sure you only get your appt with Dr.V for 5.30pm or later (if you are doing x-ray and medical the same day) as Lister delayed in giving us our results.

Did they ask you for 2002 tax returns or W-2\'s?

My husband\'s interview is on Feb 6th. I do not have either yet.
Thank you for response.
 
Tax returns for 2000 is what they asked for.

They know you wouldnot have filed tax return for year 2001 yet. (I take your 2002 as 2001)

They didnot ask for W2 for me. But for some interviewee they did ask for it. Again the W2 they would be interested will be year 2000 and if you recieved 2001 W2 before you leave for the interview, you may want to take it with you.

Only 2000 tax returns. you\'ll mostly have a copy of your W2\'s with it.

You also need your husband\'s latest pay slips and bank statements.
