MY POE- Detroit - on Sept 18, waiting for welcome notice - about 3 wks now- you think I should continue to wait or do something - like call to USCIS.
And how long should I wait for plastic card.

If you have recd. the WL, U're good. U should get the card in a few days time. You can keep track of it on the uscis web site with the case no. on the WL.

Is this case number is going to be different from case namber on IV stamp or
Alien Registration number.

I don't know what's on the MRV, but it is def. different then the A no. It's like your H1/140 no. SRC/LIN/...
