Everyone:
I went to open my mail today the same way I have every day since sending my paperwork to remove conditions, and guess what? I got a letter from the USCIS. Thinking it was probably another request for something else they've though of, since it's been a little over two months since I sent my I-751, I opened it. And there it was: "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved."
I don't think I've been this happy in a very, very long time. I felt as though the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. I've been working towards this for three years, and I know that there's people out there that wait much longer, but it still felt like eternity to me. I am so happy this is all finally over, and I have no more pain in the butt paperwork in my future.
I wanna thank everyone on this forum who helped me and provided useful information ever since this whole thing started and I knew nothing.
To all of you that are still waiting: keep your hope and patience, just waiting pays off!
Now I gotta figure out if I want to get in the whole hassle of getting the citizenship anytime soon. But for now, I'll just be happy about this.
Here's my latest timeline:
10/17 Filed I-751
11/19 Extension received
12/15 Biometrics
12/29 Date of decision
Good luck to all of you!
