I want to thank you all of you for the helpfull information I found in this forum.
My wife was the main visa lottery winner, she is from Poland and I am peruvian, but we live in Peru for about 9 years. Our interview date in the second package was in May the 26th, but because we needed documents from Poland and had to translate them to english, we changed our interview date to september. They give us an interview in september 29, the last day for 2006 winners!. They asked us if we have all documents, because if not, we are going to loose our chance to get the visas. Affortunatly we had all papers with us.
At the interview, they checked our papers, our fingerprints, and only asked a few questions about our marriage, travels to another countries, if we have relatives living in USA.
We waited about 4 hours. They told us we had to wait so long because they had to check if there were visas available to polish citizens.
Good luck for 2007 winners!!!
Best Regards from Peru.....

Hi Jose,

I am peruvian too and my wife is also the DV-2007 visa benefitiary. We haven't received the 2nd envelope yet but we were told (phone call) we are scheduled for November 30th, 2006.

I had a friend who worked in American Airlines who is originally from Polland and she got married to a peruvian and also lived in Polland, very similar to your case, her name is Patricia, is she your wife?

Anyway, we are patiently waiting "the date" and see what happens. Let me know if you could tell me more experiences before you travel.

Rgds,
Gustavo

second letter

Hello:

You should tell the KCC that you didn't received the second letter and ask them when can you expect it. Ask them if they have already send it to you.In the second letter appears the schedule date interview, and the physician's addresses who will examine you and your family.

I remember I received the second letter about 6 weeks before the scheduled interview (May 26th, 2006).

My wife's name is Agata.

Best Regards from Lima.
