Hi all,
I got my first time H1 B visa stamping done last week in Nogales, Mexico. I used the services of Attny. Frances Hayden. She is very good. The whole process went very smoothly. She represents you at the counter inteview. Came back same day. There were no problems at the Port of Entry.

Is it possible to get h4 to h1 change of status and i do have all the required docs and what is the attorney's fee.

How risk is to go there and i have a expired visa in my passport.
Is it possible to get back to USA if they deny visa.Please give me some more details about hiring the attorney.

It is possible to do that. The attorney's fees is around 3,500. But she said that it will vary a lot from case to case. Mine was a B1 to H1. yours could be less or more dependiing on your case details. It is not possible to get back if you do not have a valid visa. Hovewer I think they are very good. She had 8 cases on the day I went and all of them were approved.

Hi there,

Do you need a lawyer's help if you are going to Nogales for a H-1 revalidation with a valid visa on the passport.

I am thinking of going to Nogales on march 4, 2004 and my visa on the passport is till march 12, 2004.

I have LCAs, I-797, I-94, Paystubs, Letter from the employer etc.. Do I still need a lawyer to go to Nogales?

Any information is appreciated.
